Chris has been doing hair since 2009. He studied his craft from Casal Aveda Institute in Austintown, Ohio. There he learned more than just how to do great hair—he learned how to make any guest in his chair feel beautiful inside and out. After graduation, Chris had the privilege and honor to work under various master stylists for a year. This was an exciting time of fine-tuning his skills. Shortly after finishing his apprenticeship, Chris was asked to move to Arlington, Virginia to help open the company’s third location alongside three other great stylists. Those original four stylists quickly became many more because of the glowing reputation they created around town.

During his six years in Arlington he became an in-salon educator and mentor. One of his greatest passions is sharing with others what he has learned over the years. From not only doing great hair, but also the art of creating a memorable guest experience. After leaving Arlington, Chris found himself here in sunny Southwest Florida. When Chris moved here, he knew he wanted to try new things within this industry. He has held various responsible positions such as Salon Director, Director of Education, and now Director of Culture and Branding here at Salon Mulberry. Chris is excited to continue his work of making people feel beautiful inside and out, and helping other stylists develop their skills. He is grateful to be working for a company that has the same frame of mind.

“I graduated from Casal Aveda Institute in 2010. After graduation, I participated in a year-long apprenticeship with various Master Stylists. Over the years, I have traveled around the country taking advanced education courses and going to inspirational hair shows. For nearly four years, I worked as an in-salon mentor, where I groomed eager stylists to be great. I have also been an in-salon educator for the past five years.”
